Key Purpose of the role:
- Fulfil the role of Financial Controller with key stakeholders across the business, and provide Commercial support to GM, providing key analysis in driving business performance
- Jointly responsible for the development business strategy, and in accordance develop and implement the IMT/country finance strategy into place
- Responsible for the management reporting/analysis, in charge of controlling key KPI’s, checking variances against forecasts, budget, plan.
- Leading the activities of the IMT/Country Finance department and coordinating the activities of the European Shared Service Center (SSC).
- Responsible for executing all controlling and reporting tasks,.
- In charge of the preparation of forecasts, budgets and monthly reports
- Role of approver (Blackline and other DOA if needed)
- Supporting, advising and facilitating business growth, utilizing relevant financial analysis and business insight
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare financial planning and budgeting. Ultimately responsible for the annual budget, the MTBP, budget amendments, the annual accounts/annual report, and conducts the consultations about this in the organization
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting.
- Contribute to the development of the strategic Finance policy and takes responsibility for its delivery within the UK.
- Translate the organizational objectives into tactical and operational Finance policy and plans. Responsible for correct implementation within the function.
- Identify bottlenecks in the implementation and taking improvement actions.
- Inform and advise the board and management, solicited and unsolicited, with regard to Finance matters
- Providing guidance and support so that employees have the right knowledge and competences to perform their tasks in the best possible way and achieve the agreed results.
- Optimizing the collaboration of the various departments within the organization
- Mapping, analysing, and managing cash flows.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Held previous position of responsibility in organisations of a similar profile.
- Able to establish credibility and build functional accountability.
- Experience of working in an international organisation
- Resilient with ability to problem solve and respond to changes quickly.
- Ability to operate at tactical/operational level and strategically. Able to take a ‘hands on’ approach
